POINT

200 units produced, what is the last mini?

As the last classic Mini, only 200 units were sold in 2000, and there are four types: Seven, Cooper, Cooper Sport, and Knightsbridge. It is not officially imported in Japan and is only available in European specifications. The last mini we will be introducing this time is the Knightsbridge model, which is the highest-end model in the series, has a left-hand drive specification of which there are only a few, and the body color is British Green.

Last mini, European specification features

There are some differences from the Rover Mini that is officially imported into Japan, so I will explain them with images.

Moved the radiator that was attached to the inside of the left fender to the front

The cooling effect has been improved by moving the radiator that was attached to the inside of the left fender to the front. In addition, the engine has been powered up by using twin injectors. Although there is no image, the final gear has been changed to take into account fuel efficiency when driving at high speeds.

Three meters in the center of the dash panel

There are three meters (oil temperature, clock, and voltmeter) in the center of the dash panel. The Japanese version is air-conditionless, but a hanging air conditioner is installed on the passenger side to survive Japan's hot summers. For security, it is equipped with an anti-theft immobilizer and a side door beam for safety.

Openable rear quarter window

It has a rear quarter window that can be opened and closed. This allows fresh air to be brought into the cabin for the rear seats.

Knightsbridge, the top model of the precious last mini series, is now in stock. It is a left-hand drive model, which is extremely rare, and the body color is Racing Green II.
