Service & Maintenance Overview
All vehicles undergo a comprehensive inspection of approximately 150 items, including road testing and underbody inspection. Based on the results, the vehicle is prepared according to the selected maintenance plan.
Upgraded with carefully selected, high-quality Japanese components to enhance the cooling system
This vehicle has been upgraded with carefully selected, high-quality Japanese components to reinforce the cooling system. Cooling system parts are highly susceptible to heat and aging. When deteriorated, they can cause coolant leaks, rising water temperatures, and ultimately engine overheating. To prevent this, key components are replaced and properly adjusted to ensure stable coolant circulation and temperature control. ⸻ <Designed for Japan’s Climate> The Rover Mini was originally designed in the UK, and tends to be more vulnerable to overheating in Japan’s hot and humid environment. To address this, Classca upgrades the cooling system using high-performance Japanese-made parts. This includes: • A 3-core (triple-layer) radiator for improved cooling capacity • Newly developed and upgraded hoses • Replacement of aging and wear-prone components These enhancements significantly improve reliability, especially in demanding summer conditions. ⸻ <Improved Cooling Control & Stability> The original thermo switch for the electric cooling fan can vary in activation accuracy. We replace it with a high-precision Japanese sensor, allowing: • Fan activation at approx. 92–95°C (198–203°F) • Fan stop at approx. 87°C (189°F) This ensures stable temperature control and helps maintain consistent engine performance even in high temperatures. In addition, the original cooling fan blades are prone to deformation due to heat, as they are relatively thin. We upgrade them to a reinforced, thicker fan blade, improving durability and cooling efficiency. ⸻ ■ Parts to be Replaced • 3-Core Radiator • High-Precision Radiator Cap • Upper Radiator Hose • Lower Radiator Hose • Heater Hose • Heater Core • Heater Valve • Water Pump • Cooling Fan Blade • V-Belts (A/B) • Joint Pipe • Hose Clamps (Large / Small) • Thermostat & Gasket • Upper Bush & Collar • Engine Coolant (LLC)
Suspension System
■ Suspension Joints The suspension joints are replaced to restore proper function. As these joints wear over time, they can cause play (looseness), noise, and reduced driving stability. Worn joint components are removed and replaced with new parts, ensuring smooth and precise suspension movement. ⸻ ■ Radius Arm Overhaul The radius arms are fully overhauled. Wear in the internal bearings and bushings can lead to noise, uneven ride height, and instability while driving. Each unit is disassembled, with internal components replaced and properly lubricated, restoring smooth operation and stability. ⸻ ■ Front Shock Absorbers The front shock absorbers are replaced. Worn shocks reduce the vehicle’s ability to absorb vibrations, negatively affecting ride comfort and handling stability. By installing new shock absorbers, the movement of the front wheels is properly controlled, improving overall driving performance. ⸻ ■ Rear Shock Absorbers The rear shock absorbers are replaced. Deterioration can cause excessive body movement and instability. Replacement restores rear-end stability and improves ride comfort, ensuring a more balanced and controlled driving experience. ■ Additional Replaced Components • Lower Arm Bushings • Tension Rod Bushings • Front Hub Bearings • Rebound Rubbers
Drivetrain & Undercarriage
■ Outer CV Joint Boot The outer CV joint boot is replaced. If the boot is damaged or torn, grease can leak out, leading to accelerated wear of the joint. By replacing the boot and replenishing the grease, proper protection and durability of the joint are restored. ⸻ ■ Inner CV Joint Assembly The inner CV joint assembly is replaced. Wear in the inner joint can cause vibrations and reduced drivetrain performance. Replacing the entire unit ensures smooth power delivery and restores proper driving condition. ⸻ ■ Differential Side Oil Seal The differential side oil seals are replaced. Deterioration of the seals can result in transmission oil leaks. By installing new seals, proper sealing is restored, preventing leaks and maintaining drivetrain reliability. ⸻ ■ Additional Replaced Components • Steering Rack Oil Seal & Dust Boot • Subframe Mounts (Front & Rear)
Exhaust System
■ Catalytic Converter Gasket The catalytic converter gasket is replaced. Deterioration can cause exhaust leaks at the connection points. By replacing the gasket, proper sealing is restored, preventing leaks and ensuring optimal exhaust flow. ⸻ ■ Muffler The muffler is replaced. Corrosion and internal deterioration can affect exhaust sound and overall performance. Installing a new muffler restores proper exhaust function and sound control. ⸻ ■ Manifold Gasket The manifold gasket is replaced. This prevents exhaust leaks from the connection between the engine and exhaust system. Replacing the gasket ensures proper sealing and maintains efficient exhaust performance. ⸻ ■ Additional Replaced Components • Exhaust Hanger Mounts • Rear Exhaust Branch Pipe • Flexible Exhaust Tube • Joint Pipe • Differential Side Bracket
Engine Components
■ Rocker Cover Gasket & Seal Set The rocker cover gasket and seal set are replaced. Deterioration of the gasket can lead to oil leaks. Replacing these components restores proper sealing and helps maintain a clean and reliable engine condition. ⸻ ■ Valve Clearance Adjustment The valve clearances are adjusted to factory specifications. Incorrect valve clearances can lead to unstable engine operation and reduced performance. Proper adjustment ensures smooth engine performance and optimal efficiency. ⸻ ■ High-Tension Ignition Leads (ABR MAGNECOR) The high-tension ignition leads are replaced with premium ABR MAGNECOR components. Over time, ignition leads can degrade, reducing the efficiency of spark delivery and causing misfires or poor engine performance. Upgrading to high-quality leads ensures stable ignition performance and improved engine reliability. ■ Additional Replaced Components • Genuine Air Cleaner Assembly • Vacuum Joint • Spark Plugs • Distributor Cap & Rotor • Timing Chain Cover Gasket & Oil Seal • Timing Chain Slider Pad
Brake System
■ Front Brake Hoses & Seals The front brake hoses and seals are replaced. This prevents hydraulic leaks and deterioration, ensuring safe and reliable braking performance. ⸻ ■ Rear Brake Hose The rear brake hose is replaced. This ensures the integrity of the hydraulic system and maintains consistent brake operation. ⸻ ■ Brake Caliper Seal Kit (12-inch) The brake caliper seal kit is replaced. Worn internal seals can lead to improper brake operation. The calipers are disassembled and rebuilt with new seals to restore proper function. ⸻ ■ Caliper Split Seals The caliper split seals are replaced. This prevents fluid leakage from the caliper joints and ensures proper sealing. ⸻ ■ Brake Pads (12-inch / Borg & Beck) The brake pads are replaced with high-quality Borg & Beck components. Worn pads can reduce braking performance and cause noise. New pads restore consistent braking performance and reliability. ⸻ ■ Brake Discs / Rotors (12-inch) The brake discs (rotors) are replaced. Wear or distortion can reduce braking efficiency. New rotors ensure stable and effective braking performance. ⸻ ■ Retaining Pins The retaining pins are replaced. Wear and deterioration can reduce pad retention and cause noise. New pins ensure proper pad positioning and stable brake operation. ⸻ ■ Stainless Steel Brake Pistons (SUS) The brake pistons are replaced with stainless steel (SUS) units. Deterioration or sticking pistons can negatively affect braking performance. Upgrading to stainless steel pistons improves durability and ensures smooth and reliable operation. ⸻
